Rebuilding Commercial Mentorship

Le Win Academy was founded on a simple yet powerful observation: talented professionals are being held back not by lack of ability, but by lack of system.

I lived this firsthand. As a technical expert transitioning from engineering into senior commercial roles, I faced a challenge that many high-performing professionals encounter. I was brilliant at my craft, but the unwritten rules of commercial success felt foreign. Fear of networking, uncertainty about sales conversations, and the label of being ‘not commercial’ or ‘lacking experience’ threatened my growth despite having proven ability.

I had something crucial that many don’t. Patient mentors, skilled coaches, and a safe environment to learn and practice. With their guidance, I transformed my career, eventually building £68m in portfolio revenue and becoming a trusted commercial leader. Now, those mentors have retired, and I’ve noticed the gap they left hasn’t been filled. There is a clear market need for what I received and a proven framework with practical training and mentorship to help professionals unlock their commercial potential.

What We Believe

Our Mission

  • Break down barriers that hold back talented professionals.

  • Provide proven frameworks for sales, networking, and commercial growth.

  • Create a safe community where professionals can practice, fail, learn, and improve.

  • Prevent professionals from leaving money on the table through lack of system.

Arrow pointing right

I was terrified of networking. I was good at my job, but I didn't know how to position my skills, build a pipeline, or trust my own voice in the room. Patient mentorship, and a lot of work on my own mindset, changed everything.

What I've Built:

  • Secured major public sector contract wins totalling £32m, £18m, £13m, and £3m awards, contributing to £68m portfolio revenue growth in two years.

  • Earned a Global Dedication Award at Global Corporation , placing in the top 1% of new starters for high impact.

  • Built and managed £9.5m qualified pipelines with 100% contract renewal rates.

  • Delivered 70% of quarterly quota with six weeks remaining.

  • Led account management teams overseeing portfolios linked to £990m of NHS spend.

  • Closed £9.9m in annual revenue and converted 75% of pipeline into closed business.

  • Designed business intelligence systems that identified 470 opportunities linked to £120m in contract value.

  • Grew consulting pipelines by 60% in challenging markets.

  • Built pipelines of £6.5m in six months, contributing to strong exits ahead of private equity sales.

Why This Matters:

These numbers matter because they prove something: the frameworks work.

The methodology works. And anyone willing to learn and practice can achieve results that feel impossible right now.

Small improvements in your approach, your follow-up, your positioning, your confidence, compounded over weeks and months will create dramatic results.

I call this 'marginal gain for success.'

My Background

Automotive Engineer to Healthcare Account Director, experienced within Consulting, Membership organisations, SaaS & Digital Transformation. With recent experience within the Financial Services.

I've pitched to boards, negotiated multimillion-pound deals, built teams from zero to high performance, and led transformation across complex organisations, all while learning, often the hard way, that sustainable performance depends as much on a clear head as it does on a sharp strategy.

What I Know For Certain

The difference between professionals who succeed and those who plateau isn't talent. It's system, and the mindset to work that system consistently.

Top performers don't close deals by charisma alone; they follow a process, and they manage their state under pressure. Founders don't build pipelines through random networking; they work a framework, with the confidence to keep showing up. Teams don't hit quota through luck; they work structure, accountability, and a shared belief that the system will hold.

Beyond the Boardroom

Professional and personal growth develop in parallel. Sustainable leadership isn't built on hustle culture or manipulation. It is built on discipline, mindfulness, fitness, and the quality of relationships. Outside of coaching and commercial leadership, Dan is passionate about:

  • Fitness: Believing that a strong body supports strong decisions and high performance.

  • Live Sport: Competitive sport, specifically football and athletics.

  • Travel & Culture: Exploring new places and learning from different perspectives.

  • Cooking: Finding grounding in creating something excellent from scratch.

  • Classic Cars: Appreciating the engineering, craftsmanship, and attention to detail.

These interests aren't separate from my work; they are core to who I am. They remind me that excellence, intention, and continuous improvement matter in every area of life.
